The Discovery Church Kids team considers it a privilege to serve you and your children on a weekly basis. It is our desire that early in each child’s life they would come to know Jesus in a real and personal way. We make it our aim to partner with parents in providing their children the skills, experiences, and resources that will enable them to become life long followers of Christ. This desire not only reveals our heart and love for children, but also acts as a compass for every decision we make regarding the care of your child.
Splash Kidz (0-3 years)
Our nursery and preschool programs serve children from birth thru kindergarten. We believe our little ones can learn about God right from the start! Regular learning experiences are planned where Bible lessons come to life with songs, play, puppets skits, video, and hands on activities. During the preschool years, we focus on teaching three important foundational principles:
God loves me
God made me
Jesus wants to be my friend forever
Discovery Kidz (3-11 years)
Children 3-11 years of age will quickly fall in love with this fast paced and action packed program. Our experienced children’s team uses interactive teaching, high-energy praise and worship, videos, drama, games, and small group interaction to make learning God’s Word a blast. During these informative years of a child’s life we focus on teaching three main principles from Luke 2:52:
I need to make the wise choice
I should treat others the way I want to be treated
I can trust God no matter what
Children’s health
We operate a well-child program. For the safety and protection of all the children in our ministry, we follow recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We request that you not place your child in the program if they display any of the following symptoms:
Fever in the last 24 hours
Diarrhea or vomiting in the last 24 hours
Pink eye or other eye infections
Sore throat
Sneezing or coughing if persistent – other than allergy related
Colored nasal discharge
Skin rashes other than diaper rash
Lice
Any communicable diseases

What to bring (birth – two years)
To help us create a pleasant experience for your child each week please bring the following:
Two or three disposable diapers. No cloth diapers, please.
Pacifier or other item, should your child need it for security.
A complete change of clothes just in case the need should arise.
A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water.
To help us keep track of your child’s items please label them with their first and last name before arriving to class.
Safety
The safety of your child is our top priority at Discovery Church. All of our classrooms are staffed with volunteers who have committed their lives to Christ, and who model the mission and values of Discovery Church and God’s Word. Each volunteer has undergone a thorough screening process and background check.
